Show Your Love

Her name is Rose. She is 91 years old; in a couple of days later will be 92.
She was just having a stroke attack... But she’s still excited about celebrating her upcoming 92.
She came to the hospital alone. She is literally alone, yes ALONE in this present time in this world.
She used to have parents, 5 brothers, 5 sisters-in-law, 1 sister, and 1 brother-in-law; but they’re all gone. Rose is solitary in her life, and she’s 91 years old with a stroke.

That a short real story I just watched in TV program at NatGeo channel called ‘24 hours in A&E’ (Accident and Emergency), a British medical documentary set in King’s College Hospital.
What’s interesting about that? Well, I don’t know how, Rose has just made me cry, quite a hard one.
I think Rose is a pure-hearted life-loving granny. I try to imagine how would it feel to live her life; being old, weak, and all alone. Nonetheless, she’s still energetically life her remaining life and does not look sad. Somehow I could feel her, i could feel her sincerity. We, unconsciously, can sense other’s mood or feeling. You could sense that someone is not lying, you could sense that there’s something wrong, and you could sense unpleasant thing in everyone.

I know we’re all literally alone. Our family, friends, partner... could never be with us forever. So for your loved ones, while they’re still there with you, LOVE them. HUG them while you still could. TALK and SHARE with them. Show them your CARE, make them feel your attention about them, give them as much love as you have for them. Don’t disappoint them, of often, take them for granted.

.....as most of love is lost between what is said and not meant, and what is meant and not said.
